After experiencing Mile of Music for two days, travel writer Steve Cook thinks the festival could become an international event.
Cook said Appleton’s four days of wall-to-wall performances by singer-songwriters will attract music lovers from near and far.
“Obviously, if you live in Milwaukee or Chicago, I would definitely come,” Cook said, “but I could see this being an international music fest. When you think of jazz, you think of Newport (R.I.). When you think of real Americana music, you could think of Appleton.”
