We’re so excited for Mile 3 to begin that we’ve decided to start the music early this year! On July 18th, Mile of Music invites you to an All-Star Americana Showcase concert at the Lawrence Memorial Chapel in Downtown Appleton, featuring Dawes and The Lone Bellow, and hosted by our very own Cory Chisel. This will definitely be a concert you won’t want to miss!

Dawes originates from the bustling city of Los Angeles, CA, and currently hails from the mountains of Asheville, NC. Through their past three records, they’ve forged a delicate balance of the personalities of their two homes with their own brand of colorful folk rock. They have a new album hitting on June 2^nd entitled “All Your Favorite Bands.” Learn more on the band’s website.

From New York City comes the intimate folk ensemble The Lone Bellow. The trio’s beautiful, tight harmonies will wash over your ears and remind you of every reason that made you fall in love with Americana music. Their latest album “Then Came the Morning” was just released in January.
