Can you believe the holidays are just around the corner? Help us spread holiday cheer this year at “An Evening of Holiday Mischief with Cory Chisel and Adriel Denae”. On Thursday, December 17, we’ll be jingling all the way to the Lawrence Memorial Chapel (510 E. College Ave.) for a night of festive holiday tunes from singer-songwriter Cory Chisel along with longtime collaborator Adriel Denae, in collaboration with Mile of Music Productions. We’ll have a sleigh-full of other special guests to be announced. Come prepared to expect the unexpected!
The night of holiday hijinks is sure to swing you into the holiday spirit, even if your friends often describe you as a “Scrooge”. Tickets are $25 plus sales tax for the 7:00 p.m. show. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. on December 17. Tickets are available here. Don’t feel like buying online? Head to The Exclusive Company in Appleton (770 W. Northland Ave.) during business hours to purchase your tickets there.
As in years past, the holiday show is accompanied by a gift drive to benefit local shelters. Attendees are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped gift to donate. The gifts will be collected at the show by the Willems Student Marketing Team and distributed to local shelters. A list of needs from these shelters will be provided to ticketholders prior to the show.
Both Chisel and Denae are finishing new albums yet this year and will be performing new songs from those soon-to-be-released projects at the holiday show, along with several Chisel standards as well as the duo’s soulful take on a handful of holiday classics. Not your typical concert, as one might expect from Chisel, An Evening of Holiday Mischief will feature music from Chisel as a soloist, Chisel-Denae duo performances, and songs with his band, The Wandering Sons.
Thank you to The Post-Crescent and WHBY for sponsoring this event.
