Atlantic Records artist LOLO, arguably the most buzzworthy performer at Mile 4 in August, will be returning to Appleton sooner than later as she has signed on to headline Mile of Music’s New Year’s Encore Eve at the Paper Valley Hotel.
It will be the fourth New Year’s Eve concert celebration produced by Mile of Music and will again feature four of the most popular bands from the previous Mile of Music festival performing back-to-back sets in the Paper Valley Hotel’s Grand Ballroom, beginning at 8 p.m.
Mile 4 favorite LOLO (Jackson, TN) will hit the stage along with popular state bands J-Council (Fox Cities) and Lex Allen (Milwaukee). Kicking the evening off on December 31 will be Farewell Milwaukee, the folk rock contingent out of the Twin Cities. As a bonus, The Traveling Suitcase will reunite to close out the night! Join us for just music, or make it a full New Year’s Eve experience through the Paper Valley Hotel with their music/room and music/room/dinner packages! There will be special prize giveaways throughout the night, the Trilliant Coffee & Chocolate Lounge, a champagne toast and loads of fun!
Tickets are on sale now or at the Paper Valley Hotel’s front desk. Tickets can also be purchased via phone through the hotel at 920-733-8000 or through Mile of Music at 920-750-5020. I was very disappointed with Lex Allen. I thought his foul language was very unnecessary. I understand this is a 21+ show but I didn’t need to hear “happy f…….. New Years. Hope you had a f…… good time.” And that only continued more. I was not impressed nor were many more. I would not recommend this party if that’s okay with the people that put the show together.
