Rhythms & Brews at Riverview Gardens, the popular weekly acoustic series staged on Wednesdays in a listening room setting at Stone Arch at Riverview Gardens, returns for a third season from November 21-May 1!
Nicolet Bank is the presenting sponsor of the new season of Rhythms & Brews, which will stage 24 free original music shows in all between the debut and the finale on Wednesday, May 1 next spring. All will be on Wednesdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. A huge thank you to Nicolet Bank for helping make the music happen all winter long!
Rhythms & Brews at Riverview Gardens started in 2016 as a way to break up the monotony of the good ol’ (cold) Wisconsin winter and bring some light to each week with original music! Our goal with this special series remains the same – to bring you top national, regional and state singer-songwriters performing their handcrafted songs and sharing stories from the road in an intimate, music-first setting! The music is FREE and open to the community, so we hope you’ll join us!
Accompanying the handcrafted original music each week are featured craft beers from Stone Arch Brew House – hence the event name – and craft food prepared by the chefs at Stone Arch at Riverview Gardens.
Rhythms & Brews runs each Wednesday evening November 21 through May 1 at Stone Arch at Riverview Gardens (1101 S. Oneida Street).
Doors to the dining room open for dinner and drinks at 4:30 p.m., with doors open for seating in The Listening Room at 6:30 p.m. Mile of Music’s year-round Music-Makers subscribers have the opportunity each week to reserve a spot for the music on a first-come, first-served basis, as capacity allows. Dinner reservations from the public are accepted each week for dinner and drinks through Stone Arch at Riverview Gardens, and the free music is open to the community as capacity allows.
The kickoff concert on November 21 will include sets by Twin Cities artist Siri Undlin, who performs solo as Humbird, and La Crosse-based singer-songwriter Luke Callen. Humbird made her Mile of Music debut this past August at Mile 6, but she was also a featured performer last December at OuterEdge Stage as part of Christopher Gold’s Dirty Rotten Toy Drive charity concert. Callen is a newcomer to the Appleton music scene, but has shared the stage with Mile of Music favorite Charlie Parr, The Lowest Pair, The Last Revel and Lilly Hiatt, among others.
