Mile of Music faves Mo Lowda & The Humble and Me Like Bees return for our ‘Live! at The OuterEdge’ series on Thursday, May 16!

Appleton can’t seem to get enough of these two bands since they each made their Mile debut. Lucky for all of us, they’re joining forces and coming back to town to perform as part of our Live! at The OuterEdge series. It’s a special Thursday show, and we can pretty much guarantee it’s a Thursday night you won’t soon forget!

Quick Event Info
Who: Mo Lowda & The Humble, Me Like Bees
When: Thursday, May 16
Where: OuterEdge Stage (303 N. Oneida Street)
Cost: $12 in advance, $15 day-of-show (tax/fees may apply)
Other: This is an all ages show. (Must be 21+ to purchase alcohol.) Club style show, with limited seating available.

TICKETS!

NEW:

We’re adding some flavor to this awesome show…literally! Catch dinner before the show right at the OuterEdge Stage thanks to Family First Ministries Church of God in Christ. The home-cookin’ chefs will be cooking up tasty rib sandwich and brat plates which also includes baked beans, coleslaw, Oh Snap! pickles from GLK Foods and a water or soda! Food will be available from 6:15-7:30 at the OuterEdge.

It’s another community support opportunity for all of us music fans, as proceeds benefit Family First’s “Out of the Box Breakfast Program,” a free community program for folks in need.

Once you’ve purchased a ticket and determined you are interested in eating before the show, all we need you to do is reserve in by selecting which type of food you (and your guests) would like by filling out the link here: http://bit.ly/FamilyFirstFood516

If you don’t know what your guest(s) would like to order, feel free to pass along the link or have them send us an email ([email protected]) and we can get in touch with them!

Kindly reserve in by Monday, May 13 at 8:00 p.m. so Family First Ministries has time to order the right amount of food. All food sales will be paid at the door and are CASH ONLY, and there is no ATM at the venue.

About Mo Lowda & The Humble: Known for their progressive song writing and energetic live performances, Mo Lowda & The Humble’s beginnings were in the beer-soaked basements of Philadelphia. Following the release of their first full length album in 2013, the trio, consisting of Jordan Caiola, Shane Woods, and Nate Matulis began playing venues throughout the city. After experiencing the high of multiple sold out hometown shows, Mo Lowda took their act on the road and began consistently touring the country. Their 2016 sophomore release, ‘Act Accordingly’, was a short and sweet embodiment of the band’s natural progression; refining their already formidable sound. Following that release, Jeff Lucci stepped in as the new bassist, bringing his unique songwriting and tasteful use of effects pedals into the mix.

About Me Like Bees: Me Like Bees is an Indie Rock band hailing from the heart of Joplin, Missouri. In 2013, they released their first full length record The Ides (LoveWay Records) produced by Jeff Smith (Never Shout Never, Trust Company, Carter Hulsey).
In June of 2013, Me Like Bees won a spot to compete in the Ernie Ball Music Man Battle of the Bands (17th Consecutive Year). After surpassing many opponents and outlasting over 20,000 other bands they advanced to the final round. Me Like Bees won the final showcase at the House Of Blues in Hollywood California in January of 2014. After completing a leg on the Vans Warped Tour, Me Like Bees finished their EP ‘There Will Be Time’ with award-winning producer John Feldmann (Five Seconds of Summer, The Used, Panic! at the Disco, Goldfinger, Good Charlotte, Plain White Ts) in 2015. ‘There Will Be Time’ was positively received by many outlets, and Alternative Press gave it 4 stars. Upon the release of There Will Be Time, they embarked on a nation wide tour with Never Shout Never (Warner Bros); spanning from the world famous Troubadour in Hollywood, California to Brighton Music Hall in Boston, Massachusetts. They were asked to collaborate with Image Comics (The Walking Dead) and Jeremy Haun, writing an EP based on the comic book titled The REALM. They wrote a track for each issue in the first story arc and released the thematic EP, ‘Songs From The REALM’ in March of 2018.
They’ve followed The REALM EP  with two singles, titled Bedlam and Feel the Heat.
