February 20, 27 & March 6: The Backyard Groove

Lawrence University and the Appleton Public Library have teamed up for Backyard Groove, a series of live, virtual events which highlight global music traditions in our community. The events take place each Saturday morning through March 6.
Join in each week for interactive music-making and story programs to learn the music traditions in our community! Nani Agbeli and Lawrence University music educators (including members of the Mile of Music Education Team) will share a children’s picture book as well as teach core elements of Ghanaian drumming & dancing. This is designed for K-6, but all ages are encouraged to register & attend.
All events are free & virtual!
