Festival-goers to enjoy quicker bar and merch access at three main stages
Mile of Music is turning up the convenience at its main stages this summer. The festival is introducing a new, fully-integrated point-of-sale (POS) system that will operate at Jones Park, Houdini Plaza and Lawrence Lawn, streamlining purchases and reducing wait times at bars and Mile merch booths.
Thanks to a new partnership with Intellitix and with support from Fox Communities Credit Union, the new POS system will offer a faster, more secure experience for festival-goers – while maintaining the welcoming, artist-focused spirit Mile of Music is known for.
“This is a major step forward for our team and our fans,” said Dave Willems, co-founder of Mile of Music. “We’re excited to improve speed and convenience at our biggest stages, while still keeping things approachable and flexible for attendees.”
What’s Changing – and What’s Not:
Fox Communities Credit Union is helping lead the charge in festival innovation by supporting these upgrades and enhancing the experience through their Fox Fast Pass Line – an exclusive express lane for bar service at Jones Park, available to Fox members, Music-Maker VIPs, and sponsors.
“We’re always looking for ways to support and strengthen our local communities,” said Heather Wessley, VP of Community Impact at Fox Communities Credit Union. “This partnership helps bring greater convenience and enjoyment to the festival experience – and we’re proud to be part of that.”
The new POS system is just one of several improvements fans can expect at Mile 12, which takes place July 31–August 3, 2025. With more than 600 performances across Downtown Appleton, Mile of Music continues to blend music, community, and innovation into a one-of-a-kind celebration.
