When two of Madison’s most prolific and driven songwriters combine forces, anything can happen! After years of co-writing sessions, festival planning and overall "big idea" cultivating, Beth Kille (of the Beth Kille Band and Gin, Chocolate & Bottle Rockets) and Erik Kjelland (of The Mascot Theory) perform as a duo under the pseudonym "Kerosene Kites." Since these highly decorated writers and co-founders of Flannel Fest began co-writing in the fall of 2013, they've released three albums, most recently their ambitious full-length Americana-Folk-Rock record, "Float Away" (November 2017). Fans of male-female fronted acts like Civil Wars and Lady Antebellum will dig the Kerosene Kites' style.
