Mile of Music NEW Artist Submission
Artist submissions for Mile 11 (2024) are closed. Artist submissions to play the Mile 11 festival will not be considered after 3:00pm (CST) on 12/22. Artists are welcome to continue submitting after 12/22, but those submissions will be for playing Appleton in general or for Mile 12 in 2025.

NEW ARTISTS
Artist submissions for Mile 11 (2024) are closed. Artist submissions to play the Mile 11 festival will not be considered after 3:00pm (CST) on 12/22. Artists are welcome to continue submitting after 12/22, but those submissions will be for playing Appleton in general or for Mile 12 in 2025. If you are a solo artist, duo, trio or full band that has never played the Mile of Music festival and are interested in submitting to perform for Mile 11 (August 1-4, 2024) in Appleton, Wisconsin, the process is now open until 12/22 at 3:00pm (CST). To apply for consideration, please complete the form here with the information outlined below. Applicants should have availability August 1-4, 2024 and have at least fifty (50) minutes of 100% original music to perform. No cover or tribute artists/bands will be considered.
REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS: Artists, please make note that we will receive several hundred submissions and, based on the reality that we can only include a handful of these new artist submissions in the festival each year, the odds of being selected to play Mile 11 are very long. It has become the hardest part of the job for all of us on The Mile Team (having to say no to so many deserving artists) as the festival has evolved in stature and popularity. Your understanding of this reality is important to use because, as noted, we can only select a very small number.

Artists who submit by 3:00pm (CST) on December 22, 2023 will be considered for the 2024 festival. All other submissions will be considered to “play Appleton” at one of our year-round events or at one of our collaborative Appleton venues, and your info will be kept for consideration for Mile 12 in 2025.

- Up to Three (3) links to YouTube videos that best represent your sound and performance. (Live performances preferred.)
- Facebook Link or Handle
- Instagram Link or Handle
- X (formerly Twitter) Link or Handle (not required)
- TikTok Link or Handle (not required)
- Link to your Spotify or equivalent streaming platform
- Link to Electronic Press Kit (EPK) if applicable
- Acknowledgement that you or your band have at least fifty (50) minutes of 100% original music to perform *

To be considered: All first-time artists/bands must submit their interest in performing at Mile of Music via the artist submission process and during the allotted time period for consideration. Steps must be followed precisely as noted or the submission form will not be reviewed.
