These seven California musicians first gathered in 2018 for a writing retreat in San Luis Obispo, arranging and recording original songs, and eventually forming the Bluegrass/Stomp/Americana band SloCoast. Hailing from Los Angeles and Sacramento, the group are old friends who have played in many bands together over the years. The energy is palpable when the 7-piece brings its multiple lead vocalists, scrumtrulescent harmonies, and a variety of instruments to the stage. They've recorded remotely through the pandemic, releasing singles "You Can't Hide" and "Dark Days" in 2020 and following up with "What Are We Waiting For?" this year, and are excited to bring their unique blend of sounds to Mile 10 this summer.
