CLICK HERE TO APPLY TO PLAY MILE 6 (AUGUST 2-5, 2018)!

The artist/band application for Mile 6 (August 2-5, 2018) is NOW OPEN! This application will be available to any and all applicants until 11:59 p.m. CENTRAL on January 7, 2018.

All artists/bands MUST submit their interest in performing at the festival via this online application during this time period in order to be considered for Mile of Music in 2018. All artists/bands must also have at least 50 minutes of original music to perform – absolutely no cover songs allowed.

ABOUT MILE OF MUSIC

Mile of Music is a music-first artisan, all-original music festival that launched in August 2013 as a creative economy driver in Downtown Appleton, Wisconsin. The four-day festival is held in August with the support over 400 volunteers, featuring more than 1,000 live music sets from 250 emerging artists at 70 venues along the one-mile, walkable stretch of College Avenue and the nearby riverfront. This grassroots festival was co-founded by Appleton marketing executive Dave Willems and Appleton/Nashville-based national recording artist and Grammy nominee Cory Chisel, with support from nearly 100 community organizations.       Hi Trevor – the artist/band application for Mile of Music in August 2018 is CLOSED. We will begin accepting applications for Mile 7 via a link on our website beginning November 1, 2018. The application for Mile 7 will be available to any and all applicants for approximately two (2) months.

      PLEASE NOTE: ALL artists/bands MUST submit their interest in performing at the festival via the online application AND during the allotted time period in order to be considered for Mile of Music. All artists/bands must also have at least fifty (50) minutes of original music to perform – absolutely no covers allowed.

    When will the lineup for Mile 6 be posted/when will artists be notified if they will be performing?

      Hi Lexi! The lineup will be announced throughout the summer. The first announcement will be on April 19. Artists will be notified no later than May 1 if they are selected to perform at Mile of Music.

      Hey! Unfortunately, we reached our submission cap of 300 pretty early this year and closed submissions in December & removed the post we had up here on the website. Since you’re a Mile alum, we’ll pass along your info to the artist team, though! 🙂
