Fresh off a national tour celebrating their new record "rothko sky" Arts Fishing Club is not a band to miss. Appleton native Christopher Kessenich founded indie rock AFC when he moved to Nashville. The name 'Arts Fishing Club' is both an homage to Kessenich's grandfathers (each named Arthur) and a mission statement: Art is like fishing. We explore a sea of creativity, casting out lines (writing songs) with the hopes of landing a big catch. When we come up empty handed, we put a smile on, and wake up the next day to cast again and again. Fishing, music, and life are about the adventure they take us on and the people we get to share um with. AFC is about making music with people we love.
