Holly and the Nice Lions are a punk trio split between Green Bay and Madison, WI. After a number of lineup changes, the current iteration of the band was established in 2014. Guitarist/vocalist Holly Trasti, bassist/vocalist Steven Spoerl, and drummer Travis Pashek have spent the better part of the past decade establishing a strong reputation as live performers, playing shows across the greater upper Midwest region and releasing a handful of well-received records along the way. Most recently, the band released Tease, in February 2023. The blistering four song demo was the band's first release in five years, following Black Moon. Soundblab wrote of the 2018 album: "[Black Moon is] noisy with feedback sonics and punk pulse: It touches a live wire, a live wire that ignites a spark that plays its heart out every night to any audience that wants to share that Gimme Danger soul." Holly and the Nice Lions have played as support for The Muffs, Bully, Young Jesus, Mo Troper, The Corin Tucker Band, and many more.
