Often, when the unfortunate happens, it creates an extraordinary opportunity. With the cancellation of The Milk Carton Kids’ August/September tour dates, we walked into that blissful territory…

The “Cavalry” converged and a beautiful idea was born – an incredible group of songwriters has banned together to walk into the space that was left for Friday night’s main stage slot at my favorite place to play in the whole world, the Chapel. Amazing additions such as Langhorne Slim & Ruby Amanfu (vocalist for Jack White, and Sam & Ruby) will join me and a number of Mile favorites from Music City to give you a one-of-a-kind journey through their songs, and we’re calling it: “More Out – Than Outlaw!” … This will be a roundtable of some of the most celebrated “New Nashville” songwriters…singing and requesting songs from each other.  This is something you won’t be able to catch at any other festival and we’re thrilled to see this event come together.
