WANTED: Amazing Mile 4 Volunteers!
Posted Jul 18, 2016
It’s hard to believe that Mile 4 (August 4-7) is just three months away! Soon, more than 200 original artists will take Downtown Appleton by storm to play more than 800 sets in 70 venues over four days. There will be a lot going on in Downtown Appleton, and we’re on the lookout for
friendly, hardworking and energetic people to Help Make the Music Happen by
volunteering this August!
Whether you’re an Appleton native or just visiting for the weekend, we want to give our artists and attendees a warm Appleton welcome and show them what our community is made of!
Most volunteer shifts are 4 hours in length. Each volunteer will be given special identification and a t-shirt to wear while they are working to note their important role in making the festival happen. Spread the word! Tell your family, friends and colleagues and have them sign up and volunteer with you!
Review the Mile 4
volunteer role descriptions to see what you might be interested in. Then, click
here to apply. To apply, you’ll need to do the following:
- Provide your availability during the festival
- If you have availability before or shortly after the festival, that’s great! Just email [email protected] and we’ll get in touch.
- Choose three (3) volunteer roles of interest to you
- Note: We may be unable to match your preferences exactly, but we will do our best to accommodate your interests with the needs of the festival.
Volunteer shift assignments will be sent in July. Volunteer orientation information will be sent along with these assignments, in an effort to get volunteers acquainted with their positions.
Thanks for your willingness to Help Make the Music Happen. We couldn’t do it without you! We look forward to having you (and your friends) be part of the Mile 4 volunteer team!
