Concerts in the Courtyard is Back!

Mile of Music’s 11-Week Wednesday Series of Original Music is Presented & Hosted by Hilton Appleton Paper Valley Hotel

Mile of Music’s free Concerts in The Courtyard original music series will return to the Hilton Appleton Paper Valley hotel outdoor courtyard every Wednesday evening beginning June 22 in Downtown Appleton. The popular program produced by Mile of Music Presents will run 11 weeks through Aug. 31, returning after a two-summer COVID pause.

The all-ages series is open to the community and blends local, state and touring acts, with the shows often previewing Mile of Music festival artists set to play Mile 9 or serving as an encore to their performances post-festival in August.

The free performances are staged from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. each Wednesday. Most shows feature a headliner and an opener. The return of the series marks the sixth season for the event.

Concerts in The Courtyard is a mix of chair seating, table seating, and standing areas. Typically, enough seating is available for those who prefer it. Beverage service is available within the Courtyard and food service is available within the hotel.

The series is produced by Mile of Music Presents and presented and hosted by the Hilton Appleton Paper Valley. “Our hotel loves to host this event every summer,” said Linda Garvey, general manager at the Hilton Appleton Paper Valley. “It’s hard to beat the combination of nice weather, a fun venue and live, outdoor music!”

• June 22: The Raglanders (Green Bay) with special guest Kevin Troestler (Fox Cities);
• June 29: The Mascot Theory (Madison) with special guest Girl & The Gunn (Green Bay);
• July 6: Chris Haise Band (Milwaukee) with special guest Brittany Jean (Washington State);
• July 13: An Evening with Bascom Hill (Madison);
• July 20: Listening Party (Milwaukee) with special guest Tae (Green Bay);
• July 27: An Evening with Feed the Dog (Appleton);
• August 3: Special Mile 9 Showcase To Be Announced
• August 10: Szlachetka (Nasvhille), Sarah Aili (Nashville);
• August 17: Tae & The Neighborly (Green Bay), Nathan Graham (Nashville);
• August 24: Christopher Gold & The New Old Things (Appleton), Amelia Ford Band (Green Bay);
• August 31: Good Morning Bedlam (Twin Cities), Ben Mulwana Band (Kenosha)
