Mile of Music (2018) standout artist, The Trongone Band (Richmond, VA), returns to Appleton for a special showcase at the OuterEdge Stage as part of our Live! at The OuterEdge series. Mile of Music and local folk rockers Christopher Gold and The New Old Things will start the party on March 16.
With a sound reminiscent of The Allman Brothers, The Trongone Band is a Richmond-based quartet that’s turning heads with its old-school meets cutting-edge southern rock ‘n’ soul. Last summer brought the band members to main stages at Mile of Music and took them on a full European tour.
Festival favorite (Miles 1-6) and a WAMI Singer/Songwriter of the Year, Gold will open the night with his band and their unique blend of folk, country and bluegrass on display.
