Get the Most ‘Mileage’ Out of Mile 2

How To Enjoy The Festival In Two Steps

1. Be here

2. Repeat step one

Of the nearly 600 performances, most shows will be FREE and open to all festival-goers (as capacity and age restrictions allow). Plus, there are NO COVER CHARGES to enter venues.

Our Mission

Mile of Music celebrates original artistry and makes Americana music more accessible to everyone in Downtown Appleton. Furthermore, a portion of proceeds will go to the Mile of Music Education Fund, to support music education in Appleton public schools, and the Creative Downtown Fund, to provide seed money for projects that will boost our downtown’s creative economy.

To achieve this mission, our VIPs, sponsors, and partners have made it possible for us to make most events FREE. We want you to be here to enjoy the music! All non-VIP Priority Access venues are open to all age-appropriate festival goers (21+ or at the discretion of each venue), as capacity allows, on a first-come-first-serve basis. If capacity allows, VIP Priority Access venues will be open at showtime for non-VIPs until capacity is reached.

Interested in being a VIP? Read on.
