All Ages Venues at Mile 9

Posted Jul 28, 2022

Looking to bring the whole family to enjoy Mile 9 together? We’ve got you covered with our 18 all ages venues that provide a great space to enjoy good music (and sometimes even good eats, too) throughout the festival!

Check out our all-ages venues!

Copper Rock Coffee has a great all-ages listening rooms space to enjoy music and getting great coffee and food options! They strive to support local, and have plenty of great breads and bakery items from nearby vendors to enjoy!

Fox Cities P.A.C’s Thrivent Financial Hall will host a few Music Education Team events this year!

Fox Cities P.A.C’s Atrium (3rd Floor) is a Music Education Team event space that has a beautiful view of downtown. There are elevators up to the area making it accessible for families to access and enjoy Music Education events!

Harper Hall at Lawrence University is returning as a listening room located right next to the Lawrence Memorial Chapel.

Heid Music is a popular spot to stop by for this year’s Music Education Team events, too! They’re an all-ages venue hosting Music Education sessions for everyone to come and enjoy ton Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the festival.

Hilton Paper Valley Ballroom (Main Stage) offers a full-band main stage located inside the Hilton Hotel Paper Valley for all ages to enjoy.

Hilton Paper Valley Hotel Courtyard is a fun outside all-ages venue with a full band venue space right outside the Hilton Paper Valley Hotel.

Houdini Plaza is located right in the heart of downtown Appleton and is the center of many city events like Mile of Music! It provides a great outdoor all-ages venue for those looking to be out in the sunshine in the center of Downtown Appleton.

Jones Park is a neighborhood park that features a full band main stage that has a park located right near the stage for everyone to enjoy! There are also restrooms, a picnic area, a playground, a new Family Tent, drinking water, and more.

The Lawrence Conservatory Green is a beautiful outdoor venue that provides a space for Music Education to give music sessions for everyone to enjoy!

The Lawrence Lawn Main Stage is located on the corner of College Avenue and Drew Street right on the lawn of Lawrence University. It provides a great wide open area for families to find a spot to listen to music at.

The Lawrence Memorial Chapel is a historic venue with an all-ages listening room! The Chapel even includes a historic 41-stop-mechanical-action organ inside (and even though it won’t be used during Mile, it is stunning!)

McFleshman’s Brewing Co. will have an all-ages section located on their outdoor patio. Everyone (including dogs) is welcome to enjoy their patio!

McGuinness Irish Pub’s Harp Hall is an all-ages listening room space. They are an authentic Irish Pub that includes authentic Irish food that can be enjoyed by everyone throughout the festival.

River Tyme Bistro is located in the historic Atlas Mill on the Fox River (which also includes a beautiful view of the Fox River). They are thrilled to host all ages to come and enjoy music down by the river!

Riverview Gardens includes an indoor listening room space for all ages to enjoy! This year, Riverview Gardens will be one of the hosts of the Decoda Chamber Music Festival, which wraps up during Mile of Music.

Stone Arch Brewpub’s Outdoor Stage offers an all-ages venue with a stage located right in their loading dock (in the front parking lot). They offer great food that includes gluten and dairy free with vegan and vegetarian options as well!

The Bose Listening Lounge is an all-ages listening room with a stage located inside the Clubhouse at the Hilton Hotel Paper Valley. So, if you’re keeping track, there are three all-ages venues in the Hilton Hotel Paper Valley!

All these great venues provide great spaces for everyone of all ages to enjoy! If you’d like more information, check the app and website to see full schedules and more information on venues.

Bring the whole family to enjoy Mile 9!
