TODAY, November 28, is Giving Tuesday – the international day of charitable giving described as a “global generosity movement” whose aim is to encourage people to “give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.” If your cause is music, and specifically original music, we’d like to ask you to consider a donation to Appleton Community Music on this Giving Tuesday.
When you support Appleton Community Music (ACM) you help bring original music to our city and support the artists who make it.
In 2023, donations to Appleton Community Music supported the Mile of Music Festival by paying the lodging costs for musicians playing the festival, paying a significant portion of the festival performance fees, and 100% of the music education events at the festival – nearly $250,000 went to support the Mile of Music Festival. And for Mile 11 we aim to do even more!
Donations to ACM also help provide the artist care that makes Mile of Music a standout among all other festivals, and Appleton a favorite place for musicians to play.
“Watching my artists being taken care of, like they deserve to be, was paramount. They were so happy to be there and I heard, “This is my favorite festival of all time,” over and over again. I want artists who are on the road to experience the oasis that is Mile of Music.”
Lara Supan, Vice President/Agent Fleming Artists
“Mile of Music was a perfect 10 y’all! Unbelievably well-thought-out and organized. The accommodations at the Hilton were perfect – at the center of the entire festival and easy to get to stages, get something to eat and parking were all super easy. I wouldn’t change a thing!
Curtis Heimburger, Mom Rock
