New Artist Submissions Open Now!

Artist submissions for Mile 11 (2024) are closed. Artist submissions to play the Mile 11 festival will not be considered after 3:00pm (CST) on 12/22. Artists are welcome to continue submitting after 12/22, but those submissions will be for playing Appleton in general or for Mile 12 in 2025. 
Artists, please make note that we will receive several hundred submissions and, based on the reality that we can only include a handful of these new artist submissions in the festival each year, the odds of being selected to play Mile 11 are very long. It has become the hardest part of the job for all of us on The Mile Team (having to say no to so many deserving artists) as the festival has evolved in stature and popularity. Your understanding of this reality is important to use because, as noted, we can only select a very small number.

    It says that I have already submitted a form for Pullstring despite never opening the form? Is this a glitch?

    I represent two acts, but it looks like the form will not allow me to submit the other application even under the different e-mail. Trying to clear cookies/cache and see if that helps …

      Thank you for this input! Right now, it is set to once per IP address to prevent folks from submitting more than once for the same band. I’m reaching out to our web folks and should have a fix on Monday! (They’re the experts, and the last thing we want to do is click an incorrect setting right now!) Thank you. -Kim

    I submitted and am excited about the possibility of playing. When I finished, I got a screen that said submission received so I am assuming it all went thru. I know it’s going to take a while to go thru all the submissions, (must be quite the undertaking) but am just wondering when the selected artists will be notified. Are we talking weeks, months? Thank you.

      We are in the process of going through all of the submissions at this time. No approximate date set, but the artists selected will hear from us in the coming weeks/months.
